Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Facility Manager to join the team at East Riding Leisure Beverley. Working closely with the Facility Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of a busy and high-performing leisure centre, supporting the delivery of high-quality leisure services and ensuring an excellent customer experience. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone with strong management skills and a passion for sport, leisure and community wellbeing. The Role You will support the Facility Manager in the effective operational management of the centre, ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with council policies and procedures. You will lead and develop staff teams, support programme delivery and events, and contribute to service improvement and income generation. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Facility Manager in the day-to-day management of East Riding Leisure Beverley
- Leading, motivating and developing staff teams to deliver excellent customer service
- Ensuring the centre operates safely and efficiently in line with health and safety legislation and council policies
- Supporting programme planning, bookings and events to maximise participation and income
- Dealing confidently and professionally with customer enquiries, feedback and complaints
- Contributing to projects and process improvements to enhance service delivery
