Full Job Description

An excellent opportunity for an Assistant Estimator or someone early in their estimating career to join a growing contractor specialising in decorating and passive fire works. Perfect for someone looking to develop under experienced estimators and progress quickly. The Role:

  • Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and tenders
  • Reviewing drawings and project specifications
  • Gathering supplier and subcontractor quotations
  • Supporting senior estimators with live tenders
  • Maintaining tender documentation and records
  • Learning full estimating lifecycle

    Previous experience in construction (admin, trainee estimator, assistant level)
  • Ideally exposure to decorating, interiors, or passive fire
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Good IT skills (Excel, etc.)
  • Ambition to build a long-term career in estimating

    £35k-£45k salary (DOE)
  • Clear progression into Estimator role
  • Hands-on training and mentorship
