Full Job Description
We are growing our passionate and innovative Educational Psychology Service due todemand for our services and would love to hear from psychology graduates andpsychologists who want to join our creative service.,
- 3 Assistant Educational Psychologists (2 permanent and 1 fixed term) to work alongside an Educational Psychologist and independently (with supervision) within a wide variety of work and projects.
- 4 Senior Specialist Educational Psychologists to lead on areas that include:
- Children in Care and Virtual School.
- Children's Development Centre and Early Years.
- Social Care Stepping Stones Project and Stable Homes.
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health, Critical Incident and Bereavement Services. These areas of specialism are subject to change depending on the needs of the Service and the Local Authority and will include 0.5 of the post as specialist work and 0.5 as educational psychology work.
- 1 Senior Educational Psychologist to lead and manage a very well-respected and sought after service.We are a friendly, supportive and welcoming service. - Being part of multi-disciplinary teams (e.g., for early years assessments and council-wide systemic projects / workstreams).
- Supporting Children in Care with our virtual school.
- Facilitating ELSA training and supervision.
- Enhancing support for children and young people at risk of or experiencing EBSA.
- Providing psychological support to children, families and staff within residential children's homes.
- Offering Critical Incident support for educational settings.
- Training development and delivery to meet arising needs for our children and young people.
- Collaborating and coproducing support offers and systemic changes with children and young people, educational settings, families, practitioners and professionals.We highly value and provide professional development opportunities to enable allmembers of our Service to progress in their career, to encourage members of ourteam to flourish and for us to grow and develop as a Service., Peer and Line Management Supervision as well as fortnightly team meetings is alsoprotected time and prioritised. We value individual areas of interest and passion,encourage innovation and promote autonomy, whilst ensuring that our individual teammembers all feel a secure sense of belonging and identity with the Service, therebyworking together to facilitate changes.
