Assistant Domestic Services Manager

The post holder will provide support to the Domestic Services Manager for the day-to-day management of Domestic services providing high quality, effective and customer focused services throughout the Trust. The postholder will ensure that their working practices adhere to the National Standards of Cleanliness 2025 and be responsible for the efficacy audits within the Trust. Main duties of the job To facilitate an efficient and effective Domestic service for staff, patient and visitors to Airedale General Hospital. The successful applicant will have day to day operational responsibility for the Domestic team, reporting to the Domestic Services Manager. Support the Domestic Services Manager in ensuring full compliance withthe National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness by coordinating auditactivity, monitoring performance against Functional Risk requirements, and maintaining robust assurance reporting mechanisms that evidence cleaning quality, rectification actions, and continuous improvement across all service areas.
