  • Collaborating closely with the Design Manager to shape product and trend direction for future seasons, contributing to wider seasonal trend and inspiration packs.
  • Working alongside our commercial teams and supplier partners to gather, organise, and manage swatches, samples, and artwork throughout the season.
  • Supporting the team with creative administration, including preparing trend boards and briefing packs, collating feedback, and maintaining regular follow-ups with suppliers.
  • Keeping a close eye on our competitors while conducting thorough and inspiring trend and market research.
  • Designing woven textiles that align with brand, trend, and customer needs.
  • Creating clear, detailed design briefs and technical specifications, working closely with suppliers and factories to bring concepts to life.
  • Travelling within the UK and Europe for supplier visits, store walks, and inspirational shopping and research trips.

A strong passion for design, textiles, colour, and pattern, with a keen eye for detail.
  • The ability to collaborate closely with designers, commercial teams, and suppliers in a fast-paced, creative environment.
  • Experience generating woven textile designs, with an understanding of fabric construction and materials.
  • Strong organisational skills, with confidence managing samples, swatches, artwork, and seasonal design documentation.
  • The ability to create clear, detailed design briefs and specifications for suppliers and factories.
  • A natural curiosity for trends, with the ability to research, analyse competitors, and find inspiration across markets.
  • Confident communication skills, including regular follow-up with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
  • A proactive, flexible approach and enthusiasm for contributing ideas and supporting creative projects.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and Europe for supplier visits, store walks, and inspirational research trips.
  • Proficiency in relevant design software (such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop) would be highly beneficial.

We're the UK's number one choice for homewares - we're ambitious about our brand, about being a good company, and about profitable growth.
  • With 13 million active customers in the last 12 months, we offer over 100,000 products, including our own Dorma and Fogarty brands, across 170+ stores. We operate the UK's largest Made to Measure factory for curtains and roman blinds. We're also developing products to help customers live more sustainably by introducing new materials and circular design and broadening our Conscious Choice product lines. Our purpose is 'to help create the joy of truly feeling at home, for now and for generations to come.' We have three ambitions: 'ambitious about our brand', ambitious about being a good company', and 'ambitious about profitable growth'. We're focused on growing as the number one choice for home, furniture and more, loved by our customers shopping more frequently in a fast-moving, post-pandemic environment.
