The Department The maths department combines a spiral curriculum, data-driven assessment, and a strong focus on both challenge and support. Through structured units, diagnostic checks, and feedforward lessons, we ensure all students make consistent progress and develop confidence in their mathematical thinking. The department express our schools' PROUD values by celebrating progress, fostering respect, encouraging curiosity, and maintaining determination for excellence The Position We are seeking an ambitious and committed Assistant Curriculum Leader for Mathematics to join our successful and supportive department. This is an important middle leadership role, supporting the Curriculum Leader in developing teaching and learning, raising achievement, and maintaining high standards across the department. You will play a key role in improving outcomes, supporting colleagues, and helping to shape the direction of the curriculum. The successful candidate will also teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, including A Level. However, leadership responsibilities will be the main focus of this role. This post is primarily advertised as an Assistant Curriculum Leader position. However, we are also open to appointing an outstanding teacher of Mathematics (including Early Career Teachers) if a suitable leadership candidate is not appointed. What we're looking for:
