This is a pivotal opportunity for an excellent classroom practitioner who is ready to take the next step in subject leadership. Working closely with the Curriculum Leader for Art and Design Technology, you will support the strategic development of the department while modelling exceptional practice in teaching, assessment and curriculum design. Your work will directly impact the quality of education, outcomes for pupils and the professional growth of colleagues. You will contribute to curriculum planning, assessment systems and quality assurance, helping to ensure consistency, ambition and clarity across Art and Design Technology. Through collaboration, coaching and shared practice, you will support colleagues to continually refine their teaching and strengthen students' literacy, confidence and love of Art and Design Technology. • Demonstrate the ability to support, coach and mentor colleagues, including ECTs and trainee teachers
• Be confident in using data to identify underachievement and contribute to intervention planning
• Show strong organisational and communication skills, supporting clear systems and shared expectations within the department
• Be committed to inclusion, equity and high expectations for all pupils, including SEND, EAL and disadvantaged learners
