Assistant Bridge Engineer

We're looking for an Assistant Bridge Engineer to join our Structures team at Kier Design, supporting the delivery of highways structures projects across National Highways Major Projects, SDF, TfL and the South Wales Trunk Road Agency. You'll support Lead Engineers in delivering structures maintenance and new-build schemes, producing technical designs and documentation to meet client requirements on time and within budget. Main responsibilities will include:

• Support the Lead Engineer in delivering highways structures schemes
• Assist with investigations, inspections, data analysis and design development
• Produce technical designs, drawings and documentation
• Undertake site visits and apply relevant standards (DMRB/MCHW)
• Work collaboratively to meet project and utilisation targets
• Promote SHEQ, CDM and Health & Safety compliance across all activities
  
  Qualified in Civil Engineering (Degree, HNC or HND)?
• Working towards Incorporated or Chartered status?
• Experienced or interested in highways structures design?
• Familiar with DMRB/MCHW standards?
• A strong team player who enjoys collaboration?
