Assistant Branch Manager - Electrical Wholesale

An established and successful electrical wholesaler in Bognor Regis is looking to recruit an Assistant Branch Manager to support the continued growth of its business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrical wholesale professional looking to take on greater responsibility within a successful branch. The position would suit an existing Assistant Branch Manager or an experienced Internal Salesperson or Senior Sales Executive ready to take the next step in their career. About the Business Our client is part of one of the UK's leading electrical wholesale groups, with a strong reputation for quality products, technical expertise and excellent customer service. The Bognor Regis branch has enjoyed significant growth in recent years, developing an established customer base and a successful, close-knit team. The focus is now on strengthening the team and building on this success. The Role Working closely with the Branch Manager, you'll combine internal sales, customer account management and operational responsibilities, helping to ensure the branch runs efficiently while supporting its continued development. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing customer enquiries, quotations and orders.
• Developing existing customer relationships and identifying new sales opportunities.
• Taking responsibility for a portfolio of customer accounts.
• Supporting the Branch Manager with daily operations and team leadership.
• Assisting with invoicing, administration and branch procedures.
• Proactively contributing to the branch's continued growth and success.
  
  We're looking for someone with:
• Previous experience within electrical wholesale, ideally in internal sales, account management or a supervisory position.
• Good electrical product knowledge and an understanding of trade customers.
• A proactive, commercially minded approach to developing sales.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• The confidence to take responsibility and support colleagues.
• A positive attitude and a genuine interest in progressing their career.
Previous management experience would be beneficial but isn't essential. Experienced electrical wholesale salespeople looking to progress into management are encouraged to apply.


• £35,000 - £40,000 salary, depending on experience.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, either 7:00am - 4:30pm or 7:30am - 5:00pm, plus approximately one Saturday morning per month 8:00am - 11:00am.
