Full Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Asset Manager to support the management of the Council's highway infrastructure assets, including highways, drainage, street lighting and associated systems. The role involves maintaining and developing asset management and IT systems, producing performance and asset reports, managing technical information requests, supporting budget monitoring and supervising the Highway Services Administration Team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational, analytical and IT skills to contribute to the effective management of essential public infrastructure and help deliver a safe, efficient and resilient highway network across the County Borough. For the role, we ask that you have:
- A Relevant Level 3 qualification
- General computer literacy with knowledge in use of Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team and to follow set procedures and instructions.
- Full UK (Category B) driving licence in order to drive Council vehicles.
