Full Job Description
You'll play a key role in supporting the team's work on commercial and political issues across the food supply chain. You'll help shape food-related policy, share insight with colleagues and members, and contribute to effective communication on key developments. Through research, retailer reviews, liaison with stakeholders and collaborative project work, you'll support the NFU's mission to champion British food and farming.
You'll bring a solid understanding of the food supply chain, agricultural or horticultural production, and the wider food industry, supported by a relevant degree or equivalent experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the ability to explain complex information clearly. You'll be confident working both independently and as part of a team, with good analytical skills, sound organisation, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A passion for British food and farming, willingness to travel, and the ability to build effective relationships will help you thrive in this role.
