Introduction
Black and White Accounting are looking for a new apprentice accountant. You will be studying toward your Accounts Assistant Level 3 apprenticeship qualification.
About the Employer
For more than two decades, our Black & White chartered certified accountants have been innovating the relationship between enterprise and accounting. Your assets and accounts are precisely that – yours. That’s why we strive to keep you in the centre of everything we do, right from the start.
What You'll Do
As an Accounts Assistant Apprentice at Black & White Accounting, you’ll join a friendly, supportive team and get stuck into real client work straight away. You won’t just be making tea or watching from the sidelines — you’ll be developing practical skills that will set you up for a future career in accounting.
Your day-to-day could include bookkeeping, VAT returns, payroll, CIS, year-end accounts and personal tax returns. You’ll also contact clients to gather records and information, help answer their questions and build great relationships with them, giving you valuable experience in customer service and client communication too.
You’ll work with different businesses, industries and accounting software, so there will always be something new to learn. As your skills and confidence grow, you’ll be trusted with more responsibility and encouraged to take ownership of your work.
