Assistant Accountant

You will work alongside the accountant in the production of spreadsheets and statistical data to support the management team, and as an aid to business decisions. Alongside day-to-day accounts you will also complete the following tasks:

• Forecasts
• Estimates
• Assist with the production of the Management Accounts
• Payroll
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Accruals and Prepayments
• Cash Flow
• Reconciling Manufacturer Bonuses
• Credit Control
  
  The ideal candidate will be an experienced Assistant Accountant or an Accounts Assistant within the motor trade looking for their next step. A working knowledge of the Kerridge accounting system would be ideal but not essential. You will have the ability to communicate effectively with all financial and non-financial colleagues, clients and customers., Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft packages
• Good organisational Skills
• Excellent communication skills.
  
  This is a full-time, permanent position with a basic salary of £32,000 plus a great benefits package.
