As the Assistant Accountant you will support the senior management accountant by assisting with month-end financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting, IT cost reporting, to ensure accurate financial management. What you'll do:

• Supporting the senior management accountant with the timely and accurate completion of monthly financial information to enable successful month end.
• Supporting of the preparation and coordination of the quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting cycle including reporting into HFM.
• Support IT Cost Manager with reporting and recharging of IT costs to Skanska AB.
• Ensure compliance of Skanska internal and international accounting financial policies and processes.
• Identify and drive improvements in processes and systems, identifying and mitigating risk.
• Completion and reconciliation of primary balance sheet accounts, undertaking further review to minimise risks and maximise opportunities.
• Participate and actively contribute to functional system and process improvement initiatives.
• Assist in ad hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks as required by Senior management accountant and group finance manager.
  
  Part Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Good Microsoft Excel skills including working knowledge of formulae.
• Good knowledge of accounting computer systems (Oracle Fusion, and HFM)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly motivated, self-starter, and committed individual with a track record of delivering high quality finance outputs.
