Full Job Description

The role of Asset Support Officer is varied and you will be expected to liaise with tenants, leaseholders, contractors and internal staff via phone calls, emails and meetings both virtual and face to face. There are times where difficult conversations may need to be had or quick action is required so resilience and empathy are essential soft skills that play a key part in this role to support in delivering good quality homes to our residents.

You will be a strong communicator with experience of delivering high quality customer service, preferably in a housing setting. You must be able to communicate well to all audiences in a confident and professional manner, both verbally and in writing. and remain calm when working under pressure. You must also be IT literate and able to use corporate systems to input and utilise electronic data including spreadsheets and databases.

Asset Support Officers work as part of the Business Support team that provide front-line and administration services to support the Asset Maintenance Service. The Business Support team have a presence in key areas of the Asset Maintenance service to harmonise our administration processes as well as contributing to continuous improvement working alongside our technical staff.
