We are seeking an Asset Management Systems & Assurance Manager (AMS) to lead the development, implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of the Asset Management System (AMS). This role will ensure alignment with ISO 55001, IAM best practice and organisational objectives, while providing strategic governance across asset management activities., We are looking for an experienced asset management professional to provide independent assurance over asset management policies, processes, systems, data and controls. The role will drive compliance, support maturity improvement, reduce risk and help maximise value from asset management activities across the organisation.,

  • Lead the development, implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of the Asset Management System (AMS).
  • Establish and maintain asset management governance frameworks, policies, standards, procedures and controls.
  • Develop and deliver assurance programmes to assess compliance, effectiveness and maturity of asset management processes, systems and information.
  • Plan and coordinate internal and external audits, maturity assessments and management reviews, ensuring actions are addressed and closed out.
  • Monitor compliance with asset management policies, standards and regulatory requirements, identifying risks, non-conformances and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead the development and implementation of corrective and preventive action plans, verifying effectiveness.
  • Provide independent assurance over asset data, asset management processes, lifecycle planning, risk management and decision-making practices.
  • Produce management information, assurance reports, performance dashboards and executive briefings to support strategic decision-making.

    Expert working knowledge of asset management principles and their application within a Total Facilities Management (TFM) or large estate environment.
  • Expert knowledge of Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP) development and delivery to ISO 55001.
  • Strong understanding of asset performance, lifecycle planning, asset risk and investment decision-making.
  • Ability to translate technical asset information into strategic and financial insight.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Experience supporting audits, certification activities and compliance programmes.
  • Experience facilitating ISO 55001 certification activities and maintaining audit-ready evidence.
  • Experience leading organisational maturity assessments against the IAM Anatomy and other recognised asset management frameworks.
