Your Role


As an Assembly Technician, you'll play a critical role in our MRO operations, assembling and testing single aisle family landing gears. You'll work as part of a diverse team to complete the required quantity of shipsets per week to meet our customer's expectations.


Key Responsibilities



  • Assemble and test Airbus Single Aisle family nose and forestay, main gears, and sidestays, maintaining high quality standards.

  • Continuous improvement efforts to enhance the quality and efficiency of assembly and testing processes.

  • Deliver a product in line with quality, cost, and delivery targets.


Qualifications and Skills



  • An Engineering Apprenticeship (preferably within aerospace or manufacturing) or a Level 3 NVQ.

  • Knowledge of working with and assembling complex mechanical products.

  • Experience in reading component maintenance manuals, drawings, engineering layouts, and additions such as Service Bulletins and Service Letters.

  • Ability to use a wide range of precision measuring and test equipment.

  • Understanding of basic electrical circuitry for fitment and testing of harnesses and switches.

  • Understanding of Lean Sigma disciplines and 5S principles.
