Full Job Description
Our client in Sheerness, Kent is recruiting for Assembly Operative to join a busy manufacturing and production team. This Production Assembler role offers full-time hours and is ideal for candidates with experience in assembly, production, manufacturing, factory work, and hand tools.
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday; 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM; 45 paid hours per week
- Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour – PAYE via Pertemps
- Contract Details: Temporary ongoing Assembler job until September. Ideal for students, seasonal workers, or candidates seeking short-term work
- Location: Sheerness, Isle of Sheppey, Kent
Assembly Operative Responsibilities:
- Working as Assembler Operative assembling products, building units
- Using hand tools and power tools in a manufacturing environment
- Carrying out basic wiring and electrical assembly tasks
- Supporting production line and factory operations
- Completing quality checks to ensure high standards
- Following all health and safety procedures
Assembly Operative Requirements
- Previous experience as a Production Assembler, Assembly Operative, Production Operative, Line Operative or Manufacturing Operative
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment
- Basic knowledge of wiring, electrical assembly, or mechanical assembly
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Experience in factory, warehouse, workshop, or production environments
- Reliable and able to work full-time hours
