You'll work closely with the Assurance & Business Manager and a dedicated team to ensure services consistently exceed standards, harness evidence-based approaches, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. You'll engage in purposeful analysis, insightful reporting, collaborative stakeholder interaction, and practical improvement initiatives that contribute to better outcomes for our community., The Adult Social Care Assurance & Improvement Officers support the assurance and improvement team to implement and monitor quality assurance systems in Adult Social Care, ensuring compliance and readiness for inspections. The role involves resource and project management focused on service improvements., Key duties: Produce advice and guidance on quality assurance, analyse reports, monitor service performance, manage information systems, support inspection preparations, and ensure compliance with data protection and risk management. Quality assurance and reporting: The officers are responsible for generating quality assurance reports, presenting data for meetings, and maintaining up-to-date content on the adult social care website. The role supports the development of directorate strategies, contributes to business continuity planning, and aids learning from complaints, compliments, and FOI requests.

You will have experience working in an Adult Social Care or Health environment, with a focus on quality assurance, compliance or improvement activity. You'll bring a strong understanding of CQC requirements and the Care Act 2014, and how these translate into day-to-day practice. You will be confident analysing data and reports, supporting inspections and reviews, and using learning from complaints, compliments and performance information to drive improvement. Experience of project support, managing change, and working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders is essential, alongside clear written and verbal communication skills., This post is covered by the Government's Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers. The post holder will be required to communicate verbally with customers and provide advice and/or information in accurate spoken English.
