Full Job Description

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students; to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role. The Faculty of Arts and Humanities are looking for Students to support a number of Open Days across the Humanities, Languages and Social Sciences, Manchester Fashion Institute, School of Digital Art, and School of Art. As a Student Ambassador, you will play an important role in welcoming prospective students and their guests, sharing your experiences of studying at Manchester Met, and helping visitors gain a positive understanding of university life. You will provide information about your course and subject area, highlight the benefits of higher education, and assist visitors throughout the day. Key Responsibilities

  • Represent your course and subject area at Open Days and other recruitment events.
  • Support academic staff by answering questions from prospective students and guests.
  • Assist with presentations, demonstrations, and showcasing department facilities.
  • Welcome visitors, offer directions, and provide general assistance throughout the event.
  • Lead campus and subject area tours, giving visitors an engaging insight into student life and studying at Manchester Met.
  • Support the Marketing Team with event set-up and pack-down, including moving and assembling promotional materials such as pull-up banners.
  • Event Dates Please indicate in your application which date(s) you are available to work:
  • Saturday 10 October
  • Saturday 17 October
  • Both dates
