Art Technician - John Hampden Grammar School

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Art Technician to join the creative and thriving John Hampden Art Department. Our aim is to provide our students with a high-quality and diverse curriculum in order to foster a lifelong love of art. The Art Technician plays an important role in assisting the technical work of the department through supporting students and teaching staff.

From Science, to Design, Food Technology and PE, our technicians play a crucial role in providing essential services which directly impact the learing environment in our school. The Art Technician reports to the Head of Art and primarily ensures the correct preparation of specialist materials and equipment for use in lessons, additionally providing support to staff and students during classes.

The successful candidate will have strong administrative and organisational skills and alongside excellent interpersonal skills. They will be adaptable and flexible with the ability to work independently. The will aso be a reliable team player who is willing to make a full contribution to the department.
