Area Shift Leader - Logistics (ACDC)

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Area Shift Leader to join our high-performing team in Thirsk. As a key member of the operations team, you will oversee a dedicated group of production operatives on your shift, ensuring that safety, quality, and performance targets are consistently met. Working 48 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 6:00 - 16:00, and Friday 06:00 - 14:00. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for leading teams in a fast-paced manufacturing or logistics environment.,

• Lead, coach, and motivate shift teams to achieve daily KPIs
• Ensure all health, safety, and environmental standards are upheld
• Monitor production output, quality, and operational efficiency
• Support staff training, development, and performance management
• Coordinate with planning, engineering, and quality teams to ensure smooth operations
• Champion continuous improvement and drive team engagement
  
  Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role within manufacturing, logistics, or production
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Proactive, results-driven, and committed to high standards
• Flexible and adaptable to different shift patterns and team needs
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus
