Area Service Manager

We're looking for an Area Service Manager to lead a busy field service operation across Birmingham and the wider Midlands, including Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Wolverhampton, Telford and Shrewsbury. This is a varied, fast-paced role combining people leadership, operational delivery and customer management. You'll lead a team of field-based technicians while working closely with planners, engineers and internal stakeholders to keep the operation running safely, efficiently and effectively. What will you be doing? You'll have responsibility for the day-to-day running of your area, balancing people, customers, performance and commercial priorities. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading, coaching and developing a team of field-based technicians
• Planning and overseeing maintenance, repairs, defects and callouts
• Ensuring planned maintenance is completed safely and on time
• Running regular planning and performance calls
• Managing customer queries and complaints through to resolution
• Monitoring productivity, operational performance and costs
• Supporting team development, capability and career progression
  
  This is a high-volume environment, so you'll need to be structured, organised and consistent, while being comfortable adapting when priorities change.
