Area Manager - Broilers

As an Area Manager, you'll work closely with our contract growers to build trusted partnerships, provide expert support, and drive continuous improvement across the farms within your area.
You'll be a visible and approachable leader, helping growers achieve their goals while ensuring compliance with the highest welfare, biosecurity, and production standards.
Key Responsibilities:
?? Grower Relationships & Engagement
?? Build strong, professional relationships with contract growers
?? Understand growers' challenges, ambitions, and business needs
?? Foster a positive and collaborative partnership approach
?? Manage difficult conversations confidently and constructively
?? Support growers in achieving outstanding results
?? Driving Farm Performance
?? Monitor flock and farm performance against agreed targets
?? Identify opportunities for improvement and implement practical solutions
?? Develop and support farm improvement plans
?? Promote best practice and continuous learning
?? Welfare, Compliance & Standards
?? Ensure farms meet welfare, biosecurity, and company requirements
?? Conduct regular farm visits and audits
?? Maintain accurate records and documentation
?? Proactively address risks and performance concerns
?? Teamwork & Collaboration
?? Work closely with growers and internal stakeholders
?? Encourage knowledge sharing and best practice adoption

?? Strong industry knowledge and understanding of broiler production

?? Ability to influence and positively challenge others
?? Professional, accountable, and results-driven approach
?? Full UK Driving Licence ??
?? Willingness to travel extensively across Great Britain, including overnight stays ??
