Are you an experienced Area Manager, Regional Manager or senior multi-site retail leader with a genuine passion for cycling and a strong commercial mindset?

We're recruiting for an Area Manager to take responsibility for the performance of multiple premium cycling retail locations, driving sales, profitability, customer experience and operational standards across the region. This is a high-profile opportunity for a commercially driven leader who knows how to get the best out of Store Managers, understands the numbers and is comfortable being accountable for regional performance.

What's On Offer

  • £55,000 - £60,000 salary, depending on experience.

  • 33 days' annual leave, including bank holidays.

  • Generous staff discount across premium cycling products.

  • Company pension scheme.

  • Cycle to Work scheme.

  • The opportunity to lead multiple high-performing stores within the cycling industry.

The Role

As Area Manager, you'll take ownership of the commercial and operational performance across your area. You'll be responsible for:

  • Driving sales, footfall and commercial performance across multiple stores.

  • Managing regional P&L, KPIs, margins and profitability.

  • Leading, coaching and developing Store Managers.

  • Managing performance and ensuring accountability across the area.

  • Identifying opportunities to improve conversion, ATV and customer experience.

  • Driving consistent operational, stock and merchandising standards.

  • Creating clear action plans where stores or teams are underperforming.

About You

We're looking for a confident multi-site retail leader who enjoys being accountable for results and knows how to translate strategy into store-level performance. You'll ideally have:

  • Strong Area Manager or multi-site retail management experience.

  • A proven track record of delivering against sales and commercial KPIs.

  • Experience managing P&L, budgets and profitability across multiple locations.

  • Strong people leadership, coaching and performance management experience.

  • A genuine passion for cycling, bikes or the wider cycling industry.

  • The ability to analyse performance and turn numbers into clear commercial actions.

  • A hands-on, visible leadership style with the ability to challenge and raise standards.

  • Experience developing Store Managers and building high-performing teams.

You don't need to be a cycling expert, but you do need to have a genuine interest in the bike space and understand what makes the cycling customer tick. If you're an experienced Area Manager or senior multi-site retail leader looking for an opportunity to combine your commercial retail experience with your passion for cycling, we'd love to hear from you.
