The Opportunity
We have a new vacancy for an HGV Class 1 Tipper Driver to join our expanding logistics team based out of our plant in Croft.
Responsible for the day to day operation of our truck based predominantly in Croft plant but on occasions will be required to operate at other plants within the region. To drive any vehicle of the company's fleet which has been assigned and a current licence is held. To uphold the high standard of image, presentation and delivery service for which the company is known and to strive to improve fuel efficiencies and reduce cost minimisation. You will also be required to do maintenance & vehicle checks. You will be responsible for maintaining a professional and courteous manner when interacting with customers and site staff.
This is a permanent full time role.
Who you are
- Can work alone or part of a team .
- Flexible approach to hours within Monday to Friday.
- Knowledge of Holcim Policies and procedures is an advantage.
- Customer Focused.
- Good Communication skills required.
- Previous HGV licence and CPC card is mandatory
- Valid Tachocard is mandatory
- Experience driving Class2 & Class1 vehicle is mandatory
