Full Job Description
- Cyclical activities including grass cutting/Weed spraying- using tractors with front and side arm flails, remote control bank mowers, ride on mowers, specialist machinery such as reforms and barrier mowers, and of course brush cutters.
- Tree and hedge work, hazardous tree removal, ADB, sign and CCTV clearance and hedgerow maintenance or reduction outside of bird nesting season - Mixture of methods using mechanical Arb, Mewp and Climbing
- De-vegetation of ditches or other infrastructures, new structures and roads
- Planting
- Other ad-hoc tasks that helps our clients. Arborist/Machine Operatives will work in a team under the guidance of a working supervisor to help deliver all contractual obligations to an exceptional standard.
- You doNOTneed to be experienced in highways, although it would be beneficial.
- Experience of using specialist plant and Machinery (MEWPS, Excavators, Tractors etc)
- We would like you to have a basic understanding of health & safety
- Physically able and the ability to pass or already hold a Safety Critical Medical
- Full UK driving license with less than 6 points
- Enthusiastic 'can-do' attitude Beneficial qualifications / certificates, any of the below or their equivalent (training will be provided for the right candidates):
- CSCS
- ROLO
- Lantra Tractor Driving
- Lantra Arm Mounted Cutting Equipment / Flail
- Lantra Brush Cutter / Strimmer
- NPTC Pesticides PA1 & PA6A
- NPTC Chainsaw CS30, CS31a, CS31b, CS38 & CS39
- NPTC Chainsaw from a MEWP CS47
- NPTC Brushwood Chippers
- IPAF - MEWPS
- NPROS Operator 360 upto 10t
- Towing experience
- HGV Class 2

Salary:Hourly rate is dependent on qualifications and experience and will be discussed at interview.
