Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP)

Our dedicated AMHP team is led by a single point of contact for all daytime Mental Health Act assessments across the county, ensuring consistency and collaboration. What makes this role unique?

• Follow patients through their full journey, from hospital admission to discharge and reintegration into the community.
• Work four days per week, including one 8.00am - 8.00pm shift.
• Carry a small, focused inpatient caseload to maintain quality and continuity of care.
• Apply your professional skills in complex ethical and legislative contexts.
  
  Enthusiastic, qualified AMHP's with a commitment to continuous development.
• Flexibility to work over four days, with hours condensed into a shorter working week.

For this position you must have the following:
• Degree in Social Work & registered with Social Work England.
• AMHP Qualification
• It is an essential requirement of the role that the post holder has a valid UK driving licence and is either a car owner and is able to use the car for work purposes.
