Full Job Description

As a Lecturer and Apprenticeship Trainer in Carpentry and Joinery, you will inspire and support learners to develop the technical skills, knowledge and professional behaviours required for a successful career in the construction industry. You will deliver high-quality teaching, training and assessment in both workshop and classroom environments, as well as supporting apprentices in the workplace through regular reviews and employer engagement. Working closely with students, apprentices and employers, you will monitor progress, provide coaching and constructive feedback, and ensure learners achieve their qualifications and apprenticeship standards. You will be committed to creating a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment, promoting excellent standards of craftsmanship, and helping learners progress into employment, further training or higher-level study.
