Uppingham School is looking for an organised, confident and proactive Apprentice Training Coordinator to help shape and support the way learning and development for employees is delivered across the school.

As a key member of our People & Culture team you will help manage the school's staff training calendar, organise sessions and resources, and support staff induction and onboarding. You will also maintain training records and communicate with colleagues and external training providers and help improve the way training is planned, recorded and delivered.

We are looking for someone with strong organisational skills, good attention to detail and the confidence to communicate with different people. You do not need previous HR experience, but you should be reliable, positive, comfortable using IT, and interested in learning, training or staff development.

You will gain hands-on experience, mentoring and formal training, working towards a nationally recognised qualification while contributing to a busy and supportive People & Culture team., Uppingham School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Successful candidates must be willing to undergo full screening in accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSiE), including an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. Issues relating to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils will be explored at interview.
