Full Job Description

Introduction

We are looking to recruit an apprentice Surveyor to work in our Maintenance Teams. You will learn a range of skills and gain a great deal of on-the-job experience throughout your apprenticeship. You will be expected to attend college and achieve a Level 3 Construction Support Technician.

What You'll Do

  • Undertake a period of training to acquire the skills to inspect properties for all kinds of maintenance works
  • Work within various repair & investment teams and produce inspection reports and maintain accurate records of surveys
  • Gain an understanding of and assist in the procurement of contracts
  • Help prepare specifications and schedules
  • Work with internal and external contractors
  • Assist with ensuring that work conforms to specification & regulation
  • Complete a weekly timesheet and other paperwork


Training Outcome

There is no guarantee of a permanent position at the end of the apprenticeship however opportunities and vacancies will arise which apprentices can apply for.

Qualifications

  • Essential - GCSE - English - C/4 or above

Working Arrangements

Working Week: Monday - Thursday - 8.30am to 5pm, Friday - 8.30am to 4.30pm.
