Job IntroductionApprentice Support Worker:It's our job to help people with disabilities live each day to the full. We're developing our community day services in Lincoln Market Rasen and Horncastle, and this is an exciting time to join our experienced and friendly team.We are looking for Apprentice Support Workers who can work flexibly, have a positive outlook and a willingness to learn. With a focus on sharing your talents and interests, bring your energy and can-do approach and help make a difference every day.We work each day to make sure we offer a wide range of purposeful opportunities which help the people we support have new and meaningful experiences and develop new skills.A wide range of people with disabilities access our bases, which are well-established in the local community, and well used by a range of community groups.Our Apprentice Support Workers earn as they learn with expert support from a local college and our friendly local teams. This is a fixed term post for 2 years, 30 hours per week and will lead to a Level 2 Award.You'll support people with a wide range of activities and opportunities, including:
- Healthy eating & cookery
- Creative arts - woodwork, pottery, music making things to sell or exhibit.
- Gardening & horticulture
- Personal development & wellbeing
- Fitness and health
- Intensive interaction & sensory support
- Work skills development -volunteering & supported volunteering
