Full Job Description

To support the Recruitment team by delivering a professional service and providing a high standard of administrative support. Be the first point of contact for front-of-house transactions and take responsibility for providing telephone cover to a busy office.

  • Willingness to undertake and complete the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard
  • Willingness to undertake and complete Level 2 Functional Skills English and maths if required
  • Educated to GCSE Grade A-C/4-9 or equivalent
  • Proficient in IT skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office including databases
  • Desirable criteria
  • Proficient in the use of the internet and social media., Ability to identify transferable skills relevant to the role, Experience of working in an administrative role previously, Effective written and verbal communications.
  • Ability to work as part of a team or independently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Self-motivated and able to use own initiative.
  • Can deal with challenges in a mature way.
  • Ability to prioritise own workload and competing priorities
  • Willingness to travel throughout the Trust's geographical footprint
  • Willingness to develop skills necessary to support the team

  • Please note that the salary advertised is for full time hours. If this post is less than 37.5 hours per week, the salary will be pro-rata. For posts on Agenda for Change pay-scales, new entrants to the NHS will normally commence on the first pay point of the relevant band.

In line with other NHS organisations in the North West Region, the Trust is now passing the charge for undertaking a DBS check on to candidates in the event they are successfully appointed into the post for which they have applied. Candidates can choose whether to pay this over 1-3 months as a deduction from the monthly salary. However, if you are applying for a post as a BANK worker, the payment must be made in full at the time of employment checks. The cost of an Enhanced Disclosure will be £55.38 and for a Standard Disclosure will be £27.38.
