What You'll Do

• Assist with a wide range of property maintenance and refurbishment tasks in customers' homes and communal areas 
• Learn and carry out basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, tiling and decorating work under supervision
• Support colleagues to complete repairs safely, efficiently and to a high standard
• Use and maintain tools, equipment and company vehicles responsibly
• Attend college training and complete coursework towards a City & Guilds Level 2 qualification
• Build a portfolio of evidence and take part in assessor visits as part of the apprenticeship programme
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times 
• Provide excellent customer service when working in residents' homes and communities
• Work as part of a team while developing practical skills and industry knowledge

Training Outcome

Whilst this apprenticeship is offered as a fixed-term contract, our intention is to offer a permanent role at the end of the programme to the right candidate who successfully completes their qualification and demonstrates Coastline's values in their work. This can provide the foundation for a rewarding long-term career in property maintenance.
