Introduction
Do you want to aspire to develop an advanced career in community pharmacy? Having done a NVQ2 in Pharmacy services or GCSE passes in maths and English you will join a training course by Woodspeen Training who will provide online learning. This will enable you to gain a NVQ level 3 Technician qualification and join the GPhC.

Wychbury Pharmacy is a community pharmacy located at Wychbury Medical Centre (121 Oakfield Road, Wollescote, Stourbridge, DY9 9DS). It offers NHS and private services, including repeat prescriptions, Pharmacy First consultations (treating common ailments without a GP visit), travel health advice, flu vaccinations, and blood pressure checks.
What You'll Do
- Learning and carrying out dispensing and preparing prescriptions
- Manage prescription related queries
- Work with the team to carry out a variety of tasks within the pharmacy
- Have a patient facing role proving excellent service
- Carry out business tasks and development towards KPI
- Manage stock and deal with buying, storing and handling pharmacy medicines
- Manage prescription requests, receipts and queries
Training Outcome
- On completion of NVQ Level 2, you will then complete Level 3 to become a trained Pharmacy Technician
