A pharmacy based in Nelson are hoping to recruit a hardworking and determined candidate to work within their small team of qualified professionals, as an Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant. For the right person, there is the opportunity to secure full-time employment and progress to higher level qualifications.What You'll Do
- Dispensing of medication to patients
- Over-the-counter sales of non-prescription medication
- Check and monitor prescription slips
- Health & safety responsibility
- Rotation of stock
- Use of patient record systems and use of smart cards
- Data entry relating to medication
- Labelling and dispensing
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Working within a team environment
- Liaison with doctors, surgery and health professionals
- Completion of apprenticeship work on time
Training Outcome
Pharmacy Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship; A possible permanent position within the organisation.
