Introduction

Radius Systems is offering an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice New Product Development Engineer to join its Technical Team.This apprenticeship combines practical workplace experience with college-based learning, giving you the opportunity to develop the knowledge, skills and experience needed to build a successful career in engineering

What You'll Do

You will undertake a series of placements in different areas of the business.

These may include:

  • Product Engineering - combining design, engineering, and manufacturing processes to create and maintain innovative products
  • Research and Analysis –Rigorous development testing of new and existing products to British and International standards
  • Assembly and Manufacturing Engineering - Front line problem solving and improvement projects in the manufacturing area, including development of knowledge on manufacturing processes such as extrusion, injection moulding, and machining
  • Where applicable, you may also experience business functions outside of Engineering, such as Finance, Customer Service, Quality, Applications, and Sales to gain a full understanding of our business


Training Outcome

  • You will progress onto HNC/D and will have the opportunity to apply for a bachelor’s degree post-apprenticeship

Expected Duration: 3 Years 6 Months
