Introduction
Coolkit in Blackburn are recruiting for an Apprentice Manufacturing Operative. The successful candidate will work towards completing a Level 2 Lean Manufacturing apprenticeship over the duration of 15 months.

What You'll Do
- Learn to safely operate manufacturing machinery, hand tools, and equipment
- Assist with measuring, cutting, and preparing materials in line with work instructions
- Support the assembly and manufacture of refrigerated vehicle components
- Learn how to interpret technical drawings, measurements, and specifications
- Carry out quality checks on completed work and identify any defects or issues
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Follow all company health and safety procedures and safe systems of work
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across Manufacturing and other departments
- Complete all apprenticeship training requirements, coursework, and assessments
- Develop skills and knowledge through on-the-job learning, mentoring, and formal training
- Contribute ideas for continuous improvement as confidence and experience grow
- Undertake other duties appropriate to the apprenticeship programme as required
