Introduction
This apprenticeship is delivered in partnership with our Training Provider SIGTA, combining hands-on experience in our modern machine shop with structured off-the-job training. You will develop skills in CNC machining, milling, turning, and precision engineering to become a fully competent machinist.

What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC milling and turning machines under supervision
- Assist with setup, tooling, and material preparation
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Produce precision components to tight tolerances
- Use measuring equipment including micrometers and gauges
- Support inspection and quality control processes
- Learn CNC programming fundamentals (G-code)
- Maintain a safe and organised working environment
- Follow all health & safety procedures
- Complete apprenticeship coursework with SIGTA
Apprenticeship Training (SIGTA):
- Workplace learning combined with off-the-job training
- Day or block release at SIGTA training centre
- Qualification: Level 3 Engineering Technician/Machining Technician
- Training includes machining, materials, CNC programming, drawings, quality and safety
Training Outcome
To become a fully trained and qualified Machining Technician with Supercraft.

Expected Duration: 3 Years 9 Months
