Apprentice Library Assistant | Leyland Library | £12.71 per hour | Temporary 2-year | 37hpw | Weekends Enhancements International Sponsorship - this role is not open to international sponsorship Are you passionate about reading and enjoy helping others? We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer focussed and digitally confident individual to join our library teams. - Apprentice Library Assistant - Leyland Library
- 37 hours per week
- Temporary for 2 years What you'll be doing: As an Apprentice Library Assistant, you'll support the delivery of a high-quality library and information service. This includes:
- Assisting customers with accessing digital resources and information.
- Supporting in the planning and delivery of events (e.g. author events, class visits) A Library Apprentice to work at Leyland Library. This is a temporary 2-year role, working an average of 37 hours per week. This will include some evenings and weekends, over a two-week rota (see attached rota at the bottom of the advert)., Apprentices will have the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge about the Library Service and receive appropriate training and support to assist in the provision of an efficient and effective library service. You will work towards gaining the work-based in Library, information and archive services assistant / Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education in a timely manner.
