About the Employer

Princes Risborough Nursery is a unique and fresh childcare experience situated close to the mainline station. We created this nursery as a family venture to bring much needed childcare facilities for parents wishing their children to have an amazing early years experience in the town of Princes Risborough. As parents ourselves, we have experienced first hand both good and sub-optimal childcare facilities and we feel it is so important to be reassured when we go to work that our little ones are left with the best carers and have a wonderful experience of life every day that we are unable to be with them due to work commitments.

What You'll Do

• Support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities with support from experienced staff.
• Complete observations and contribute to assessments and learning journeys.
• Support children's personal, social and emotional development.
• Promote positive behaviour and inclusive practice.
• Work closely with colleagues and families to support children's progress.
• Ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of children at all times.
• Follow safeguarding, child protection and confidentiality procedures.
• Recognise and appropriately report safeguarding concerns.
• Contribute to a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.

Training Outcome

Successful apprentices may secure a permanent Early Years Educator position with opportunities to progress into Room Leader, Third in Charge or other senior Early Years roles.
