Introduction
We're offering a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our growing team.
We are looking for an apprentice HVAC Service Engineer who is willing to learn and help our company grow. In return, we offer an excellent salary, hands on, onsite learning, and day release to college.
About the Employer
We are a multimillion pound HVAC mechanical services design and build contractor, operating throughout the A34/M4 corridor and London
We carry out everything from small maintenance tasks to air conditioning installation projects worth up to £2 million, in some of the tallest buildings in London
We have always taken pride in our apprenticeship schemes of developing young talent
What You'll Do
- Meet clients and understand their expectations
- Diagnose faults and learn how to repair air conditioning and heat pump systems
- Install air conditioning and heat pump systems, and carry out brazing
- Carry out daily maintenance tasks
- Learn H&S regulations
- Gain knowledge of technical guidance and learn to read technical drawings
- Hands on experience with mechanical and electrical services
- Handle refrigerants safely and in line with government environmental policies
- Commission and test air conditioning systems
- Be mentored by one of our senior HVAC engineers and work as part of a small, supportive team
Training Outcome
Direct promotion within the company to full HVAC Service Engineer after successfully completing your apprenticeship.

Course Information
Course: Refrigeration air conditioning and heat pump engineering technician (level 3)
Level: 3
Route: Construction and the built environment
Apprenticeship Level: Advanced
Working Arrangements
Working Week: Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4.30pm on-site hours, with day release to Abingdon & Witney College on Thursdays.
Expected Duration: 3 Years
Training Provider: ABINGDON AND WITNEY COLLEGE
