What You'll Do
The role will be at the patient's bedside- taking on tasks including:
- Washing and dressing patients
- Helping patients move
- Making beds
- Serving meals
We will also teach you technical skills, including:
- How to check a patient's blood pressure, temperature and heartrate
- Emergency lifesaving skills
- More advanced skills, depending on the type of ward, such as taking a patient's blood for testing
