Introduction
Kick-start your career in manufacturing with Modular Systems Ltd. As an Apprentice GRP Fabrication Operative, you will learn how to manufacture and assemble GRP components, work alongside experienced professionals, and gain a nationally recognised Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative qualification.

Modular Systems Ltd is a leading manufacturer of modular solutions, specialising in Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) pods. Based in Hull, the company produces high-quality modular products for a range of sectors and is committed to developing skilled employees through apprenticeships and ongoing training.
What You'll Do
As part of the production team, you will gain hands-on experience while learning about GRP fabrication and manufacturing processes.
Duties will include:
- Assisting with the fabrication and assembly of GRP components
- Operating tools and machinery under supervision
- Following quality and health and safety procedures
- Supporting continuous improvement activities within the workplace
- Working as part of a team to meet production targets
- Developing practical manufacturing skills through day-to-day work
- Completing apprenticeship coursework and off-the-job training requirements
Training Outcome
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there may be an opportunity to secure a full-time position within the organisation and continue developing a career in manufacturing and GRP fabrication.
