Apprentice - Gas Engineering Level 3

You will work in a team in Ely region. This opportunity will give you a chance to earn valuable practical experience in providing a reactive gas Maintenance & Repair service, undertake gas boiler and heating system replacements, along with learning invaluable customer service skills essential to build and maintain a successful career in the gas and renewable industry., We work closely with the Home Office in order to prevent unlawful working. A basic Disclosure and Barring Service check will be necessary in the event of a successful application which we will pay for. Sanctuary Maintenance Contractors Limited is a subsidiary of Sanctuary Housing Association, an exempt charity.

Gas Engineering apprentices will work alongside fully qualified gas engineers, working on all different types of gas appliances, including servicing, repairs and maintenance as well as installations of new appliances and heating systems, gaining as much experience as possible whilst also attending day release at college. You will gain a Domestic Natural Gas Installation and Maintenance - Level 3, nationally recognised qualification at the end. All of this will be supported by the team around you, ensuring you are getting the best out of your apprenticeship!, We look for candidates who live and breathe our values; Ambition, Inclusion, Integrity, Quality and Sustainability - and have a willingness to learn, enthusiasm and dedication. On top of this, practical skills we are looking for are;

• A minimum of 2 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, including/or equivalent in Maths and English
• A keen interest in practical and technically challenging workloads within a rewarding gas and renewable industry
• Good practical and problem-solving skills
• Hold a full UK driving license, or be willing to undertake driving lessons with a view to holding a full UK driving license, in order to drive a company vehicle on completion of your apprenticeship
