Introduction
We are looking for an apprentice to join our established parks and open spaces team, to gain experience across a wide range of sites to help provide the best quality open spaces for people to enjoy.
About the Employer
Lymington and Pennington town council was created in the mid 1970’s and serves the area of Lymington, Pennington and other neighbouring villages, providing a number of services including a number of formal gardens, parks, playgrounds, sports facilities and conservation areas for residents and visitors to enjoy.
What You'll Do
You will be trained in all aspect of horticulture, to include:
- planting
- pruning
- weeding, grass cutting
- conservation work
- leaf clearance
In addition to the tasks above you will be required to assist with litter picking and snow clearance.
You will also be required, with training, PPE and supervision to operate a variety of machinery to undertake these tasks.
Training Outcome
You may be offered a full time position once you have successfully completed your apprenticeship

Working Week: 8am-4pm Mon-Thurs 8am-3pm Friday This will included day release to Sparsholt College during term time
