Introduction
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice Engineer at Advance Fire and Security Systems based from the North Shields premises - with excellent prospects to grow within the role and receive first-class training. The successful candidate will undertake a wide range of duties and work towards a three-year apprenticeship.

What You'll Do
The role is varied and will involve both installation and maintenance work, and duties will include:
- Carrying out 1st and 2nd fix for installation of intruder alarms, CCTV, access control and also fire safety systems (pulling cables through and affixing equipment to walls, etc.)
- Use of hand tools & cordless drill
- Attending routine maintenance and service calls
- Fault finding and commissioning systems
- Completion of site paperwork
- Working to company procedures and following all health & safety guidelines

- The role will develop over time, and there is the possibility of securing a company vehicle in the future for the right candidate
