Full Job Description
We are looking for two Finance Apprentices to join the team that oversees our day-to-day financial operations. You will enrol on a structured training program, where you will work towards a Level 4 or 7 CIMA qualification (depending on your educational background). As you gain experience within our finance function you will be trained on a range of activities, which include: assisting with financial transactions; preparing monthly journals; maintaining accurate records; supporting budgeting and forecasting processes; resolving queries or discrepancies; preparing and distributing financial reports; and providing general administrative support, among many other tasks. As we continue to evolve our ways of working to ensure maximum efficiency, this apprenticeship offers a great blend of practical experience and academic learning, providing you with a solid foundation for a successful career in finance.
Are you passionate about numbers and looking to apply your mathematical skills in a real-world business environment?, Candidates with a degree in Accounting & Finance (or equivalent course) may be exempt from the level 4 course and will start on the level 7 CIMA professional qualification.
- GCSE Maths & English (grade 4/C or above)
- 3 A-Levels (grade A to C), including maths/finance based subjects - or an equivalent alternative finance centred level 3 qualification
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- A genuine interest in finance and commercial operations
- Excellent communication (written and verbal)
- Good teamwork skills and a positive attitude
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with a drive to deliver to professional standards
- A willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow as the role evolves Desirable:
- Familiarity with accounting systems, POS systems or hospitality finance software
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- A forward-looking approach to how technology and data can drive business efficiency, A nationally recognised Level 4 (HND equivalent) or level 7 (Masters equivalent) finance qualification, We are not able to offer sponsorship for this role.
