We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Apprentice Aluminium Welder and Fabricator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Based at Somercotes in Derbyshire, RPT Engineering Ltd has been trading for more than 30 years, providing powder coating, blasting and fabrication services across Derbyshire and the East Midlands.

We specialise in shot blasting, powder coating, and steel fabrication, handling everything from single one-off restoration projects to high-volume production runs. Whether you need alloy wheels refinished, gates and railings powder coated, or structural fabrications prepared and finished to specification, our team has the experience and equipment to deliver.

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities-
MIG weld aluminium components to high quality standards
Cut and shape aluminium box gutters accurately to specifications.
Assist the team with general welding and fabrication duties.
Read and interpret basic engineering drawings and measurements.

Training Outcome

Full time employment upon completing apprenticeship successfully
