Apprentice Engineering Site Fitter / Fabricator

Introduction

Due to continued growth and increasing customer demand, we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Site Fitter/Welder Fabricator.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on engineering experience while working on a variety of interesting projects across our sites.

What You'll Do

• Work closely with Project Engineers and Site Fitters to learn all aspects of the engineering and fabrication process
• Learn how to safely use a wide range of tools, equipment, machinery, and materials
• Assist with the loading, unloading, handling, and storage of materials and components
• Support the team in preparing materials, tools, and equipment required for projects and site installations
• Learn how to interpret job requirements and ensure the correct materials are available for each task
• Observe and assist with various welding techniques and fabrication processes following appropriate training
• Develop the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, manufacturing specifications, and technical documents
• Gain an understanding of how projects progress from design through fabrication, installation, and completion
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment in accordance with health and safety procedures
• Support colleagues with general workshop and site activities as required
